Does the shield compatible with chipkit uno 32 from digilent?
Admin Reply :
Nop, although the pins from chipkit Uno32 is compatible with Arduino UNO, but it is 3.3V operated, while this LCD shield is 5V. If you have further inquiry, please do discuss in our technical forum as this section is for short inquiry, thanks :)

The LCD's backlight works only when RESET button on LCD shield is pressed. Otherwise its off. I tried tweaking the potentiometer, but thats for contrast. I have a blue backlight. Any solution ?
Admin Reply :
I think you din control it in your sketch. The backlight is controlled by D10 pin of Arduino, do check the schematic :) If you have further inquiry, please do discuss in our technical forum as this section is for short inquiry, thanks :)

Hi,I just bought the LCD Shield and an Arduino Mega 2560. It seems that I can't fit the shield on top of the mega perfectly or is there something that I'm missing/should do?
Admin Reply :
Hi, we have tested, it fits perfectly :) Maybe you should check the orientation and the pins. If possible, please do share a few photos in our technical forum :)
